AIR ROCK CONTEST IS LIVE FOR REGISTRATION
RULES AND REGULATIONS
• Lyrics of songs (covers or originals) should not contain anti religion, racist or derogatory remarks directed towards any individual or institution. Abusive language on stage will not be tolerated.
• Any member of a band will not be allowed to play in more than one band
• Participants will be expected not to come intoxicated or under the influence of any narcotics. If found so than the band will be disqualified from the contest
• Bands will be expected to bring their own instruments, the organizers will only provide a basic drum kit excluding cymbals, snares and foot pedals
• Bands will be judged on originality, stage presence, coordination and technical abilities.
• Bands will be given a total of 25 minutes including plugin for the prelims and and finals.
• Participating bands will not be given any allowances for travel or food. The organizers will however provide hall type accommodation for bands.
• A participating band will not be allowed to have more than two extra members other than the band members.
HOW TO REGISTER
• Bands need to send an email to darjeelingopenair@gmail.com with the following details
Name of the Band and Members.
Place of Origin
Music Genre
Short profile of the band
• Please attach the following along with the email
Demo (mp3 format) including lyrics (MS Word or PDF format)
Video links if any (preferably live performance)
• Entries will be closed on 16th of December, 2013 and the selected bands will be announced on the 18th.
• The selected bands will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 3000 to confirm their participation. The above fees will be non-refundable.
• The prelims will be held on the 26th and 27th December, 2013 and the finals will be held on the 29th. Dates are subject to change at any given time and the bands will be informed duly.
